Throughout the United States and Canada, Firefighter Calendars are common fundraiser for local burn foundations. These calendars serve as a great way to raise money to support local burn survivors. The Bakersfield Firefighters Burn Foundation has teamed up with internationally recognized Valdophe photography and is excited to announce the production of an 18 month (July 2016-December 2017) Bakersfield Firefighter Calendar to support our local burn foundations mission.
The Bakersfield Firefighter’s Burn Foundation is a non-profit 501 © (3) organization founded in 1991. The foundation is made up of Bakersfield City Firefighters who volunteer their time making a difference in burn survivors lives. The goal of the Bakersfield Firefighter’s Burn Foundation is to help burn survivor’s transition from surviving to thriving. Proper care of the burn survivor requires a long term commitment as each survivor moves through the many different ages and stages of life, each with its own unique challenges. Each year the Bakersfield Firefighters’ Burn Foundation continues to advance its mission of helping meet the unique needs of burn survivors and burn care professionals. Through such programs as: burn survivor camps and get-togethers, burn prevention education, school re-entry, burn related medical items assistance, family lodging and needs, continuing education assistance for medical professionals and emergency first responders, and supporting our regional burn units, the Bakersfield Firefighters’ Burn Foundation assists in changing lives for the better.
